(Video) Beautiful Ink Blends with Cover Dies- Lydia’s Crafty Corner
Hello, everyone! Happy Friday. Lydia here. Today, I'll be sharing how you can get beautiful ink blended backgrounds.
To start, I cut Layered Geo Cover Dies A & B from Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock and Vellum. I adhered these together using glue tape. I saved the smaller circle from the vellum die-cut and added this to a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ panel of Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock to act as a mask. Once this was temporarily in place, I ink blended the background using Baby Pink, Fuchsia, Dew Drops, and Aqualicious Crisp Dye Inks. To disguise some of the blending, I added splatter using Iridescent Shimmer Ink Spray.
When this was done, I removed the mask. I added a sentiment from Across The Pond Stamp Set into the masked space. Then, I adhered the layered cover dies in place; this will also help disguise any blending that you are not too happy with.
