Card with Blooming Bouquet Florals in Gold
Hello everyone! Erum here. I hope you are all doing great. Today, I have a card to share featuring the Blooming Bouquet Stamp Set. I made this card a long time back but never got around to edit the photos.
First, I heat embossed the florals from Blooming Bouquet Stamp Set onto watercolor paper with Antique Gold Crisp Embossing Powder. Next, I watercolored the images and left them to air dry. Meanwhile, I cut a few different width strips out of Kraft cardstock. Then I inked them with brown ink.
In order to create a more rustic look, I chose Woodgrain Powder Cardstock as my card front. Also, I inked it a bit with distress ink to match it more with the brown strips. When I was done with the front, I glued down my strips.
Next, I fussy cut my images and arranged them on the card front.
In order to balance the gold, or add to it, I die cut the word “hugs” twice in gold and Woodgrain Powder. Next, I used the gold die cut as an offset.
I popped up the word “hugs” with foam tape covering a part of my floral design. In the end, I added gold and black splatters plus gold sequins.
That is all for today.
Thank you for stopping by!
