Cardmaking with Detailed White Space + Video
Hello there! It's Laurie here with a new card. Many times I get asked how to incorporate simple looks with white space. I thought it would be fun to share with you a way to keep the white space while adding in a little background detail.
To create this card, I used the Dotted Swirls Debossing Cover Die on a piece of white cardstock. Using the Halftone Squares Die Set, I cut several sized squares to add to the background of the card. That keeps the white space but adds the debossed detail.
Story of Us has the most gorgeous bloom. I stamped it up using the Red Cosmos Mini Cube Ink Set. I tucked in some green leaves and finished the card off with a sentiment from Many Thanks Stamp Set. It wouldn't be complete without a couple of little droplets to add some shine.
