Cherry Blossom Wreath
Hello, friends!
Svitlana here. I bet many of you are waiting for spring eagerly. And making spring cards can make this wait more bearable. I have one spring card idea to share with you today.
For my card, I used the Under the Cherry Blossom Tree Stamp Set and the set of coordinating dies. I created a wreath of cherry tree branches on my card.
I started off by making a card base out of a Parchment Cardstock. After that, I flicked some white paint onto it and put aside to let the paint dry.
Then I made 7 die-cuts of the same cherry tree branches out of a Solar White Cardstock. After which I stamped the branches onto the die-cuts. For each die-cut, I placed it into a negative space in the panel where one of the branches was cut out of, positioned a stamp layer and stamped it onto the die-cut. After that, I replaced the die-cut with another one and stamped again. I did this until I stamped the stamp onto each die-cuts. I repeated the same for the two other layering stamps of this image.
For stamping, I used the Jet Black, Dark Chocolate and Coral Berry Crisp Dye Inks.
Next, I adhered the branches onto the card forming a wreath. I used five branches to form the wreath. And then I trimmed some parts of two other branches and tucked them here and there in different parts of the wreath to make it more “circle-ish”.
I white embossed a sentiment from the You Are Stamp Set onto a Jet Black Cardstock strip and popped it onto the card.
I finished off by adding several white crystals.
Have a wonderful day!
