Card with Colorful Amazing You Floral Spray
Hello! :) Hope you are doing good.
Erum here today and I have a colorful floral card to share. I will be using the Amazing You Stamp Set to build a floral spray.
To begin, I prepared my base. I cut the base and added tons of black paint splatter to it. Then I put it aside to dry.
Second, I stamped several flower and leaf stamps from the Amazing You Stamp Set with waterproof ink onto watercolor paper. I then watercolored these with distress stains. Next, I die cut the images with coordinating dies and put them aside.
At this point, I knew I wanted to use one of Altenew's frames, but to make it look a bit different from the rest of my cards I used vellum. Therefore muting the black paint splatter a bit and thus giving the card a softer look.
This frame comes with the Our Family Scrapbook Collection and is also available separately. I added foam tape to this frame and popped it on my one layer card base.
After adhering the frame, I began arranging my flowers and leaves.
As soon as I was done adhering the flowers, I knew the card needed a pop of black. Hence the white, heat embossed sentiment on black cardstock. I used Pure White Crisp Heat Embossing Powder for this purpose. I popped this strip on the vellum with foam strip.
At the very end, I added quite a few clear sequins and confetti for the sparkle.
I hope you liked my colorful card with the Amazing You floral spray. This stamp set is beautiful. And I love that it has two different types of flowers. Plus, the florals' size ranges so you can build your own spray effortlessly like I did.
