Colourful Card with Totally Tropical Stamp Set
Hello friends, Erum here with a colorful card featuring the Totally Tropical Stamp Set and our new Watercolor Stripes cover plate.
First and foremost, how incredible was the release yesterday? So amazing! As soon as I saw the new release photos, I grabbed the Watercolour Stripes cover plate. As you can see, I couldn't wait to use it!
To begin, I watercoloured a panel with Lagoon Crisp Ink. Meanwhile the panel dried, I die cut the cover plate and added a light colourwash of leftover Lagoon Crisp Ink.
I then stamped the images. The inks I used are as follows:
- Pink: Pinkalicious and Razzleberry
- Yellow: Maple Yellow and Caramel Toffee
- Green: Bamboo and Olive
Next, I die cut the images with coordinating dies. At this point I decided to go with the die cut “Aloha” instead of stamping my sentiment. Therefore, I die cut the word “Aloha” in silver.
As you can see I didnt turn this into a shaker card. Instead, I glued iridescent seed beads, confetti and sequins randomly in small clusters.
Next I popped my diecut + watercolour panel onto a card base. Then I arranged my Totally Tropical florals with foam tape on some scrunched up silver string.
To finish off my arrangement, I popped the die cut word “Aloha” on part of the main flower. Lastly, I added more sequins for extra bling.
I hope you liked my Totally Tropical, colorful and blingy card! That is all from my side. Thank you for stopping by.
