Creative Coloring with Erum: Stamp Focus: Forever in Love
Hi everyone! Erum here with a Stamp Focus post for the Forever in Love Stamp Set.
I also have a video at the end of this post for one of the cards so make sure to check that out!
I tried to keep my cards relatively clean. For the first card, I stamped the image partially onto Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock with Permanent Black Ink. I used Artist Markers to color the image.
The colors I used are:
- Yellow: Caramel Toffee, Warm Sunshine, and Buttercream
- Green: Green Fields Artist Markers
- Pink: Rose Quartz, Puffy Heart, Purple Wine, and Cosmic Berry
To finish off, I drew a border all along the edge and added a few gems.
For my second card, I stamped one of the images from the Forever in Love Stamp Set on watercolor paper (Canson) with Obsidian Pigment Ink. Next, I used the Watercolor 36 Pan Set to color the image. The shades I used are Cosmic Berry and Moon Rock.
As you can see, I fussy cut the image and also altered it a bit so I can arrange and use it differently, which changes the look of the stamp and therefore you can use it in several different ways.
For my last card, I heat embossed the image in Pure White Embossing Powder. I used liquid watercolor for the flower, and for the leaves, I used the Watercolor 36 Pan Set.
For my front panel, I used diluted Moon Rock Watercolor and added a few diagonal brushstrokes. I stamped the sentiment in Obsidian Pigment Ink and also added a few black paint splatters before adhering the floral image with foam tape.
