Creative Coloring with Erum: Galaxy Watercolor Flowers
Hi there everyone! Erum here with a new floral card featuring the Build-A-Flower: Sweet Violet Stamp Set and the Watercolor Brush Markers.
I started by stamping the images in Obsidian Pigment Ink. Next, I applied water to a petal and first added the Purple Wine pigment. After this, I added the pigment from the Persian Blue Watercolor Brush Marker. I used a third color which was Turquoise for interest. Once the pigment was on the petals, I used a water brush to dab some water and spread the color around.
To color the leaves, I used Limeade, Lime, and Emerald Watercolor Brush Markers.
Once the coloring was done, I used a heat gun to dry the image completely. Next, I added splatters of clear water onto the image. I gave it a few seconds before sopping off the excess with a tissue paper. Also, for additional interest, I added splatters of diluted white chalk paint.
For the card front, I added a few black splatters and then arranged my flowers. To finish, I adhered a heat embossed sentiment partially over the floral arrangement.
You can watch the video below or on YouTube to find out how I colored the flowers.
Thank you for stopping by!
