Creative Coloring with Erum: Stamp Focus: Happy Pomegranates
Hi there everyone!
I have three cards and a video to share with you featuring the lovely new set called Happy Pomegranates Stamp Set, which celebrates the autumn season.
First up is the no-line watercolor card where I first stamped the pomegranate stamp, masked it, and then stamped the leaves and other images with water-based dye inks.
Next, I used the Watercolor 36 Pan Set by Altenew to color the leaves and the pomegranates.
To finish, I added fine black splatters and a sentiment strip with a foam tape.
For my second card, I decided to use just the leaves. And again I went with the no-line watercolor look. I stamped the images on watercolor cardstock using water-based dye ink and used several shades of water-based dye ink re-inkers to color the leaves. Once I was done, I fussy cut the image and adhered them with foam tape.
Next, I stamped the sentiment from Sunflower Daisy Stamp Set on a strip of cardstock and adhered it with foam tape.
For my third and last card, I stamped the images on watercolor cardstock in Clear Embossing Ink and heat embossed them in Antique Gold Embossing Powder. Next, I fussy cut them and used the Watercolor Brush Markers in Ruby Red, Emerald, and Lagoon to color the images.
For the background, I used Evening Gray Watercolor Brush Marker and added a light color wash of the same. Once the background was dry, I added fine black paint splatters. Next, I added two strips of cardstock along the width of the front panel for interest. Then I arranged my floral elements and my sentiment strip.
