Metallic Watercoloring with Stencils 3-Minute VIDEO and More | Creative Coloring with Erum

Hi there everyone! Erum here with a stamp focus post and the stamp in focus today is the Poppy Garden Stamp Set.

For my first card, I heat embossed several images in Pure White Embossing Powder on watercolor cardstock. I used a mix of watercolor shades from the Watercolor 36 Pan Set.

I used the coordinating dies to die cut the images and adhered them with foam tape. The sentiment is from Across the Pond Stamp Set.

I kept my second card super simple. The images in this set are already gorgeous! I decided that they would look great just plain stamped and they do look really classy!

Though, I would have preferred a more cursive font sentiment to go with the chic look of the card. I did add a few black paint splatters to the card front for interest.

Last but not least is this blue beauty! I tried something new on this card, I used the Metallic Watercolors by Altenew with the help of a blending tool, through a stencil to build that grid pattern that you see on the background! Doesn't it look cool? It looks so good in person!

I started by scribbling Lagoon Watercolor Brush Marker onto the center of the panel and on the edges, I scribbled both Desert Night and Lagoon Watercolor Brush Markers. After this, I spritzed the panel generously with water. I also used a paintbrush to move some of the pigment around to cover any white areas.

Once dry, I adhered the Grid Stencil with washi tape and, through the stencil, applied the metallic watercolor with the help of a blending tool. You can have a better idea if you watch the video just after the photo below.
