How to Create Beautiful White Vellum Flowers
Happy Monday everyone! Erum here. Today I have a kraft and white card to share with you. Who doesn't like the combination of kraft and white? Especially if you pair the kraft with vellum flowers, it looks very pretty.
I will be using the Grateful Heart and Nature Blossoms Stamp Sets.
First, heat emboss both the flowers and leaves from the Nature Blossoms Stamp Set and also the leaves and flowers from the Grateful Heart Stamp Set onto vellum in Embossing Ink. Heat emboss this in Pure White Embossing Powder.
Adding Pen Detail to Vellum
Next, use a Polychromos white color pencil and color the image from the backside of the vellum (where there is no embossing). To add a more opaque white pigment, use a white gel pen and add stokes over the pencil pigment. You can again use the white pencil over the gel pen detail if you want to soften the strokes.
Fussy cut the vellum images. You can even die-cut them but I chose to fussy cut along the embossed outline. Set the images aside.
Die-Cut Detail, Adding Geometric Element
For interest and building a layout, I die-cut the Fine Frames Circles Die once and separated a few circle frames. I laid these down in a way that would work with the floral arrangement and enhance it even more. Doing this also makes the eye believe that the arrangement is fuller.
I used the 2 in 1 Precision Glue pen to adhere the Fine Frames Circles.
Add a Rustic Element to Match the Vellum Flowers
To add texture to my kraft panel, I mixed a bit of Embossing Paste with water and diluted it considerably. Then I applied it all over the panel in horizontal strokes. If you do this, dry your panel so you know how much more you need to apply as it will become more visible after drying.
Then I will add white chalk paint splatters.
Interesting Diagonal Arrangement
To adhere the vellum images, use a hot glue gun. You can use a transparent tape too but I wanted dimension so I applied a dot of glue, and let it cool down. Then over it, I applied another dot of hot glue and adhered my images onto the panel. The first cold hot glue dot is what will give dimension to my images and act as foam tape. The second glue dot will act as adhesive.
Adhere all images in the same manner varying the dimension for interest.
To finish, adhere the sentiment from the Sentiment Strips 2 Stamp Set and a few Satin White Sequins.

Thank you for stopping by! Have a lovely week!
