Dry Embossing with Stencils for a Clean and Simple Card

Hello there! It's Laurie here with a card showcasing one of the newest stencils from Altenew. Stencils have such a wide variety of uses to add color to your projects but they can also add texture in clean and simple ways.

The Hand-Drawn Tile Stencil is a gorgeous new stencil with so many intricate details. Using my die-cutting machine and an embossing mat, I ran the stencil through with some white cardstock. The embossed result was beautiful.

Layering the embossed panel on yellow cardstock really made the white pop. I finished the card off by stamping the blooms from Delicate Clusters, along with a sentiment from Ruffled Flowers. I cut the image down with the Halftone Squares Dies and then added a little Sunray ink blending around the edges for a soft, pretty look.

Here is a challenge for you. Grab a stencil and try dry embossing with stencils today!

Have a great day!
