Simple Floral Thank You Card
Hello, friends!
Svitlana is here. Today, I want to share a simple floral thank you card featuring the very beautiful, and one of my favorites, Sunflower Daisy Stamp Set.

I really like the gray and pink color combination and decided to apply it to my card.
I stamped several sunflower heads and leaves onto white cardstock using gray inks from the Rock Collection Dye Ink Set. After that, I die cut them using the matching die.
Next, I made a panel out of pink cardstock. To add some interest and texture to the panel. I dry embossed it using the On Point Stencil.
To dry emboss with a stencil, you need a rubber mat that you can add to your die-cutting machine sandwich. I cannot tell the exact recipe for such a “sandwich” as it depends on the die-cutting machine. It can be two cutting plates and a rubber mat or a rubber mat and one plate meant for embossing. You have to check the instructions on your machine for the sandwich. The main idea is that you place a rubber mat under a cardstock and place a stencil on top. Then when you run it through the die-cutting machine, the stencil gets pressed into the cardstock (due to the weight the rubber mat creates) and creates texture. You can also slightly spray your cardstock with water (very little) to avoid cardstock creasing and cracking (which can happen if you’re using a thicker cardstock or your sandwich is very tight).
After that, I added black splatters onto the panel and foam mounted the panel onto a white card base and adhered my stamped die-cuts onto it.
Then I popped up a sentiment from the Thank You Builder Stamp Set onto the card.
Lastly, I added several white and black crystals. I hope you were inspired to create a simple floral card!
