Watercolor Background Card with Inked Flora

Hello! Sveta here. I'm a summer person so, for me, it's sad that it's over and I want to make a little throwback by sharing a new card that I made with the gorgeous Inked Flora Stamp Set.

I used the Industrial Diamond Crisp Dye Ink to stamp my background. The style of the stamp set and this ink color created a look hand-drawn pencil image. I stamped the flowers and leaves close to each other in order to fill all the empty spaces on the card.

Then I started to color background with watercolors using Altenew's Watercolor 36 Pan Set. I chose light yet eye-catching colors. I was inspired by my friend's t-shirt so much that I used the same color combo for this card (if you follow me on IG you probably saw that t-shirt ).

For me, it's always a challenge to add a sentiment that will not be lost in this kind of background. The idea came to me from a box that I have that says: “die-cuts that I can use someday”. It was a negative die-cut that I made using the Script Words Die Set and silver cardstock.

Adding a yellow bow was the final accord to this card to highlight the color combination that I chose.

Hope you liked this card and got some ideas! Have a great day!
