Layered Laurel for Christmas

Hello! Sveta is here and I want to share my newest card for Christmas with you! I was inspired by the frozen ornaments on windows and decided to use resist effect technique to imitate them on my card.

I found Layered Laurel stamp set perfect for this background. I heat embossed the branch and a few of the leaf layers with Pure White Crisp Embossing Powder. Then I started to use my watercolors and applied light layer of turquoise color all over the background and then added darker touches to branches. I suggest you to use watercolor paper for this technique – it will make process easy and the results will be great!

For the sentiment I chose Merry Christmas Die set and  Gold Mirror cardstock. I adhered words right on the panel and used little sequin for an accent above the “i” letter.
