How To Use The Ghost Stamping Technique in Card Making – Lydia’s Crafty Corner
Hello there everyone! Happy Friday. Lydia here. Today I'll be sharing a fun technique that allows you to ‘print' a inked background.
I started by temporarily adhering the masks from Wild & Free Mask Stencil into place onto a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of white cardstock. I inked over these images using Aqualicious Crisp Dye Ink. Once this was done, I removed the masks and inked over the whole piece using Fuchsia Crisp Dye Ink. For the ghost ink printing, I added a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of white cardstock over the inked panel and then ran this through my die cut machine. Separate the pieces and you get this beautiful ghosted effect.
As I didn't want to take too much attention from the background, I used simple sentiments from Label Love Stamp Set.
