How To Create A Dimensional Watercolor Scene | Lydia’s Crafty Corner

Hey there, everyone! Lydia here. Today, I'll be sharing how you can create a dimensional watercolor scene using Mountain Die Set.

To start, I cut all of the dies from Mountain Die Set from Watercolor Cardstock. When this was done, I went ahead and quickly added color using Artist Watercolor 24 Pan Set. The watercoloring was really simple. First, I added water to the die-cut pieces. Then, I dropped in color and moved it around; there was no real thought, but I do like how it turned out.

For the sky, I used Galaxy Washi Tape, but you could definitely paint your own sky if you wished. I added the washi tape to a piece of white cardstock before die cutting it using the largest die from Halftone Circles Nesting Die Set. I used the same die to cut out the watercolored pieces and a panel of white cardstock.After that, I added the sky into place onto my card base using glue tape and then added the die-cut scene pieces on top using foam tape. I just love how the dimension brings the watercolor scene to life! The sentiment comes from Wanderlust Stamp Set.
