How To Create An Ornate See-Through Card | Lydia’s Crafty Corner
Hello there, everyone! Happy Friday! Lydia here. Today I'll be sharing a see-through card with a touch of alcohol ink color.
I started by taking a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of acetate and added some color to it using Alcohol Ink. I used the Artist Marker Refills in Parrot, Mango Smoothie, and Lagoon colors. I'm just loving this fresh color combo! I then took Ornate Cover Die and cut this into a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ card panel and also on the front of a card base. As the cover die wants to cut all the way around to keep it attached to the card base, you need to shift you die cutting plates so the top plate doesn't cover the top cut line.
Once I had all my pieces, I adhered the acetate piece to the top of the die-cut card base. Then, I added the die-cut panel on top. The acetate piece is then sandwiched between the two beautiful lace die-cut panels. It just looks so pretty.
