One design, two cards
Hi everyone!
It's Svitlana here today sharing two cards using several floral stamp sets. I decided to make cards with one design, but different look. That can be easily achieved by just changing background.
To make these cards, first I stamped almost the same floral designs on two white panels. I was using Beautiful Day, Dahlia Blossoms, Spring Daisy and Peony Bouquet stamps sets using various dye inks from Altenew.
This step was a little bit time-consuming as there was a lot of masking. Also, some of these flowers don't have a solid bottom layer so I needed to make negative masks to add solid color to all flowers.

I was using my MISTI stamping tool to stamp this design twice, which of course saved me some time.
When I finished with stamping part – I cut out all stamped parts with my scissors and started assembling my cards. For the first one I took a kraft card base. I white embossed a sentiment from Beautiful Lady set, adhered floral parts and added some die-cut sequins cut from the same kraft cardstock.
For the second card I took a striped piece of patterned paper, white embossed the sentiment, and adhered flowers to it.
I like that these two cards turned out to have a quite different look. But the idea and all actions were the same.
And as a stamper who struggles with using patterned paper in cards I am always happy when able to do it :)
Hope you're having a great day!
