One Layer Card with Magnolias For Her
Hello friends! Erum here with a one layer card using Magnolias for Her.
First, I stamped my flowers onto Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock. After that, I used Ruby Red and Grapevine Artist Markers to color in the petals.
Further details were added with colored pencils. The “milky” spots you see are the result of adding detail with white pencil. The flower centers were done with grapevine Artist Marker and black pen.
After coloring, I cut the flowers and kept them aside. Meanwhile, I scored a piece of cardstock for my base. Next I stamped by flowers where I wanted my colored pieces to go. Then, I drew a branch freehand with a pencil. Here, I did pencil coloring. I also added details to the branch with a 0.1mm pen.
At this point, I stamped my sentiment from Amazing You Stamp Set. I outlined it with a white gel pen to make it pop.
In the end I added black paint splatters and popped my fussy cut flowers onto the card with foam tape.
I made this card a while back for a magazine publication. I really love the clean look of this card with a pop of bold red. And of course Magnolias for Her is everyone's favorite.
That is all from my side today. If you want me to feature a particular stamp set on my card, please feel free to leave suggestions in the comments, it will be very helpful. Thank you for stopping by, see you soon.
