Parrot Paradise: Adding Depth with Color Pencils – Video!

Hi, it's Therese and I am so happy to share an idea today for a bright card design.

I stamped and coloured the parrot image from Parrot Paradise stamp set with Copic markers and used Prismacolor pencils to add depth to the coloring.

I have made my own background design using the Pattern Play – Hexagon stamp set.  Firstly I chose colors that would work well together and repeatedly stamped the filler images with Altenew Crisp Dye Inks.  I used Orange Cream, and Pinkalicious.

Then I was able to die cut the sentiment using the Bold Alphabet Die set from Turquoise cardstock and I popped each of the letters up on some white fun foam.  Then I added a sentiment from the Sentiments & Quotes Stamp Set.
