Quick and Simple Snail Mail

Hello crafty friends! It's Laurie here with a quick and simple card perfect for a crafty friend! I am on a mission to be better at sending cards in the mail… and snail mail is the best kind of mail!

I adore Altenew's Snail Mail Stamp Set. It's the perfect mini stamp set to make a colorful card. I simply stamped the layered images 6 times with different colors to create the rainbow of envelopes. To create these images, I used these mini ink cube sets:

  • Tea Party
  • Warm and Cozy
  • Pocketful of Sunshine
  • Tropical Forest
  • Sea Shore
  • Enchanted Garden

The colors in these mini ink cube sets give you the most amazing rainbow every time!

After stamping each envelope, I die cut them out with their coordinating die. To add dimension, I layered each one with a piece of foam tape.

The Crafty Friends Stamp Set had the perfect little sentiment to tuck under the envelopes. I found a tiny heart sticker and had to add that in there too! Clean and simple!

I wanted to play around with the layout and add another layer, so I created one last coordinating card.

First, I scored a white panel of cardstock randomly to create some easy embossing. I lined up the envelopes again with foam tape for dimension.

After cutting the panel in 2 strips, I added those to an aqua card base. I finished it off by stamping another sentiment from Crafty Friends to the bottom of the card.

These 2 stamp sets, Snail Mail and Crafty Friends, are perfect for quick cards. I hope you've got some inspiration today for clean and simple cards and to get more of your cards on their way to your crafty friends!

Thanks so much for coming by today. Hope you have a great day!
