Simple Dry Embossing Hack with WOW Factor!

Hey there, crafty friends! It's Laurie here today with 3 projects using using Altenew's new Embossing Folders.  If you haven't seen these new AMAZING embossing folders, you will definitely want to check them out. These folders create perfectly detailed embossing and debossing details for your cards. This first project showcases the new Mega Hello…and it's my favorite!

I adore white space along with a good quick and simple card. You can't get more quick and simple then this. First, I used the debossing folder on a white card base.  The depth of the debossing without ripping the paper is amazing!

Then, I grabbed a sentiment from the Thinking of You Stamp Set and added it with Obsidian Pigment Ink along the bottom of the card. To finish off this simple card, I added a tiny heart from the Mini Brownstone Stamp Set in Heartbeat Crisp Dye Ink.

Next up is the Beautiful Bergenia Embossing Folder, another new folder in the line-up.

Quick and Easy Card with Simple Dry Embossing TechniqueThis folder has lots of beautiful detailed blooms and leaves. I wanted to let the embossed detail show so I only added a tiny bit of black ink mist and shimmer on the card panel.

I used a small piece of patterned paper from the Enjoy the Ride Paper Pack and then used the Waterbrush Hello Die cut in black fun foam to finish the card.

One last super simple project today that could be easily mass produced.  I am always in need of thank you cards and this will be a go-to from now on!

I used the Flowers and Leaves Embossing Folder on the lower half of this card front. It was very easy to do by just running the embossing folder section through your machine, keeping the rest of the card front clean and flat.

I used the script thank you from Altenew's Many Thanks set to finish this clean and simple card!

I hope you have enjoyed my embossed projects today.  The possibilities are endless with these folders because that perfect embossing will always shine through.  Thanks so much for coming by today!  Hope you have a great day!
