Stamp Focus: Better Together
Hello everyone! It's Aga here today with a Stamp Focus post on the newly released Better Together Stamp Set.
This set contains meaningful sentiments to stress the importance of acceptance, unity, and diversity. Because we truly are better together! This special set can be used on many different paper-crafting projects, cards or scrapbook layouts and can also be used as important reminders on journals or other similar projects.
Today, I created three CAS cards to give you a few different ideas of using this set as a perfect finishing touch.
For my first card, I combined the Perfectly Perfect Stamp & Die Bundle with Garden Picks 3D Die Set. First, I cut out a flower from Garden Picks 3D Die Set out of white cardstock and colored it in using the following Artist Markers: Peach Perfect, Rouge, and Cotton Candy. Then, I stamped images from Perfectly Perfect Stamp Set with black ink and cut them out using the coordinating dies. I decided to leave my flower uncolored and only added color to the leaves. Again, I used Altenew's Artist Markers: Forest Glades and Evergreen.
I arranged my elements on the card and stamped the “celebrate our differences” sentiment in black.
For the next, one-layer card I used a masking technique to create a floral frame around my sentiment. First, I stamped the sentiment in black and masked with a strip of paper before I started stamping a ditsy print floral bouquet outline from Ditsy Print Stamp Set.
I used the same color combo as for the first card and again used the following Artist Markers to do a simple coloring: Peach Perfect, Rouge, Cotton Candy, Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades, and Evergreen.
For my last card, I used the Fantasy Floral 3D Die Set to die cut a flower and leaves out of watercolor cardstock. Next, I used the Watercolor Brush Markers – Spring Garden Set to add color to the elements.
Once everything was dry and set, I added it to the card and stamped a black, bold “spread love” sentiment.
