Stamp Focus: Bountiful Branch
Hello, everyone! It's Aga here and today I will be focusing on one of my favorite sets from the new release called Bountiful Branch.
It’s another beautiful addition to the Altenew holiday stamp collection. This set contains beautifully layered and amazingly detailed branches laden with berries along with a ‘Season's Greetings' sentiment. It’s perfect for all of your holiday projects but it can also be used for any other occasion.
Today, I created three clean and simple cards to give you a few ideas on how to use it.
My first card is a very quick and easy holiday card and I decided to go for traditional Christmas colors. I stamped the branch twice to create a wreath right in the center of my card. I used the following Altenew Crisp Dye Inks: Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades, Evergreen for leaves and Rouge, Crimson, and Velvet for the berries.
Next, I die-cut NOEL sentiment out of Gold Mirror Cardstock using dies from Fine Alphabet Die Set.
For my second card, I chose to use a less traditional color scheme. This time I used Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades, and Evergreen for leaves combined with Dusk and Desert Night Crisp Dye Inks for the berries and created a stamped background.
To finish my card, I used a negative die-cut piece I had left after creating sentiment for my previous card. I popped it up with foam tape for a bit of dimension.
For my last card, I used a masking technique to create a wreath, but this time I paired the Bountiful Branch Stamp Set with a stamp from the Remember This Stamp Set to create a floral arrangement for a non-holiday card. I again used the greens for the leaves: Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades, and Evergreen. For the berries, I chose to use Pink Diamond, Pinkalicious and Rubellite Crisp Dye Inks. I also used the Artist Markers to color the stamped flowers in.
The final thing to do was to add a sentiment in black (it comes from the Crafty Life Stamp and Die Set).
I hope you’ve enjoyed these examples and you found some inspiration today! I can’t wait to see what you create with this set! Thanks so much for stopping by today!
