Stamp Focus: Dainty Bouquet
Hello everyone! It's Aga here with a Stamp Focus post on the newly released Dainty Bouquet Stamp Set.
This set contains two beautiful floral sprig images. Each bouquet consists of a solid “shadow layer” that can be used as is or paired with the additional layering images for adding color and details. The shadow layer is meant to be stamped in a light neutral color, and the additional layers may be stamped in any other color of your choice, preferably the darker tones. Today, I created three CAS, one-layer cards to give you a few different ideas on how to use these stamps.
For my first card, I stamped the shadow layers with Morning Frost Crisp Dye Ink and used all the additional layers to add color to them. I used the following Altenew Crisp Dye Inks: Forest Glades and Evergreen for leaves along with Cotton Candy and Coral Berry for the flowers.
To finish the card, I stamped my sentiment in black and used a red marker to add some berries.
For my next card, I inked the stamp with Frayed Leaf Crisp Dye Ink and gently wiped off the ink from the flower before stamping it on the card. Next, I used Altenew's Artist Markers (Blush, Rouge, Frosty Pink and Coral Berry) to paint the flower.
As a final step, I die cut the “hello” sentiment out of black cardstock using the Fine Alphabet Die Set.
My last card is slightly different than the others. First, I used the Watercolor Brush Markers – Spring Garden Set to create a watercolor background. Once it was dry and set, I stamped the shadow layers with Permanent Black Crisp Dye Ink for a bold silhouette look. I like how it’s standing out from the watercolored background.
To finish the card, I stamped a sentiment from Wonderland Stamp Set.
