3 Simple Geometric Cards Inspired by Traditional Middle Eastern Patterns
Hello everyone! It's Aga here with a Stamp Focus post on the newly released Delicate Tiles Stamp Set.
This stamp set features 23 beautiful tile patterns and sentiments that can be used in a variety of projects. The set was inspired by traditional Middle Eastern patterns, and the stamps can be layered to create various combinations of backgrounds in traditional or modern color combinations.
Let's get started!
Today, I created three simple projects to give you a few different ideas on how to use this set.
For my first card, I decided to go for a bright color combo.
I started by stamping my tiles using Mango Smoothie, Lagoon, and Emerald Crisp Dye Inks. I created a square background for a sentiment cut-out using Fine Alphabet Die Set.
For my next card, I used another tile design and bright color combo to create a background. I used the following Altenew Crisp Dye Inks: Pink Diamond, Pinkalicious and Turquoise and to finish my design, I added small details with Mango Smoothie Artist Marker.
As a final step, I stamped two images from Leaf Clusters Stamp Set with Lagoon and Emerald Crisp Dye Inks and added my sentiment from Circled Sentiments Stamp Set, popped up with foam squares for dimension.
For my last card, I created a simple, one-layered background. For me, stamping these patterns is a very relaxing thing. I inked some layers with two shades and I stamped my tiles using Pink Diamond and Pinkalicious, Lagoon and Emerald, and Turquoise and Grapevine Crisp Dye Inks.
To finish the card, I used Mango Smoothie Artist Marker again to add some details and I stamped sentiments from the set in black.
