Stamp Focus: Frilled Petals Stamp Set + Video
Hey there! It's Laurie Willison here today. I am stopping by with my first post for Altenew! Yes… I am nervous and I hope I do everything right!
Check out this gorgeous stamp set called Frilled Petals!
I have 3 cards to share today. This stamp set is so beautiful and has a lot of possibilities.
For this first card, I chose to use the leaf image. I love clean and simple designs, so this one is also a one layer card.
To create this card, I stamped the solid leaf image first in Frayed Leaf and then went back in with the outline in Forest Glades. I didn't line the images up so it has a very free look to it. Next, I scored the card front every half inch and then stamped the sentiment, “You are in my thoughts” from the Heartfelt Sentiments Stamp Set. Definitely a quick and easy card!
This next card was fun to make. I stamped the outline randomly on a piece of pink cardstock. I added a detail stamp from the bloom in a darker pink color. After that, I went in with some white splatters on the card base.
I cut the background panel into 3/4″ strips and adhered them to a white card base. Then, I used the Mega Hello Die with black cardstock and pink fun foam to create this dimensional sentiment.
My last project needed to show some white space so that the Frilled Petals bloom would pop.
I stamped and die cut the bloom, added some scoring on the card base, and then popped up the “hang in there” sentiment. I love white on white which helps the pink bloom to pop!
