Stamp Focus: Leaf Medallion
Hello, Altenew fans. Rubeena here with a Stamp Focus post on the newly released Leaf Medallion Stamp Set and the coordinating Leaf Medallion Die Set.
Did you know that we released the Leaf Burst Stencil a few months ago? I used the stencil and did some ink blending with Volcano Lake directly on my folded card base. Then I stamped the smallest image from Leaf Medallion Stamp Set with Mango Smoothie.
Next, I die-cut the Leaf Medallion Die with black cardstock and adhered it in the center so the yellow peeks through. I only added glue to the center so that it won't lay flat on the base.
I stamped the sentiment from Leaf Medallion Stamp Set with clear embossing ink on black cardstock and heat-embossed it in white. Then I trimmed it down and mounted it on the bottom of my card with foam tape.
For the next card, I used the Splatter Stencil. I did ink blending on my card base using Coral Bliss and Lava Rock. In this card, I used all the images from Leaf Medallion Stamp Set and stamped them using Pink Pearl, Coral Bliss, Heart Beat, Lava Rock, and Jet Black.
Next, I die-cut the image using the frame die from the Leaf Medallion Die Set. Then I mounted it over the stenciled background and then stamped the sentiment in Lava Rock.
For my last card, I stamped three of the leaf burst images on watercolor paper with clear embossing ink and heat embossed them with Antique Gold Crisp Embossing Powder.
I used the Watercolor 36 Pan Set to watercolor over the embossed images. Once that dried, I added blue and gold paint splatters and then adhered this panel to my folded card base.
Afterward, I stamped the sentiment from Leaf Medallion Stamp Set with clear embossing ink on black cardstock and heat-embossed with Antique Gold Crisp Embossing Powder. Finally, I trimmed down the words and mounted them on the card with foam tape.
I hope you were inspired to use these products in new ways.
Thanks so much for visiting today!
