Stamp Focus: Mega Greetings 4
Hello, Altenew friends! It's Laurie here with a new Stamp Focus, using the recently released Mega Greetings 4 Stamp Set. This stamp set is filled with sentiments complementing the large words, “Blessed” and “Hope”. The fonts used in this set are gorgeous and the list of sentiments is so very versatile for card-makers.
I have 3 projects today, along with a quick process video to share how I made one of the cards. Let's get started!
Simple stamping is my favorite stamping route and this card fell right into that category. I stamped the word “Blessed” in Aqualicious Crisp Dye Ink and then then the coordinating stamp in Obsidian Pigment Ink. These Altenew inks are amazing and add great color to your card.
Trying something a little different, I masked off the center portion of the card and then blended in some Coral Bliss and Orange Cream Inks. Using my score tool, I added a few score lines and then finished the card off with a few sequins.
Using that same masking technique, I decided to add in some stamped images this time. I used my favorite flower from Weekend Doodles Stamp Set and stamped above and below the masked area.
I stamped the word “Hope” in Coral Berry and Ruby Red Inks to give an ombre look to the main sentiments and then added in the coordinating sentiment again in Obsidian Pigment Ink.
To keep this coordinated with my first card, I added in a couple of score lines and then completed the look with the clear rain drops.
Going a different route for my third card, I did a little stenciling in the background and used the Mega Blessed Die for the sentiment.
I grabbed the Bold Bunch Stamp and Die Set to give this card a little color.
Check out my process video to see how I put this card together. You can also watch the video in HD on Altenew's YouTube channel.
I hope you enjoyed my projects. Thanks so much for dropping by today!
