3 Gorgeous Cards Created with Retro Plantine Stamp Set
Hello everyone! How do you like the latest release? What is your favorite stamp/die set? It was love at first sight when I saw the Retro Plantines Stamp Set! These stylish leaves made my imagination create a lot of combinations and I will show you a few today.
FIRST CARD
For the first card, I chose purple and yellow color combination – one of my favorites. Woodgrain Powder Cardstock was the perfect card base to use with these leaves images.
I stamped and die cut the leaves to create a composition. For stamping, I used Butternut, Grape Agate, and Amethyst Crisp Dye Inks.
Finally, I adhered a sentiment made using Hello and Hugs Die Set and two cardstocks: one is the Gold Foil Cardstock and the other one is the Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock inked with a bit of Grape Agate Crisp Dye Ink.
The second and the third cards are similar and both are one-layer cards in ochre and blue tones.
SECOND CARD
For the second card, I created a mostly ochre (Yellow Ochre Crisp Dye Ink) background using the leaves and added three berry images in blue (Cloudy Sky Crisp Dye Ink) to highlight the place for a tiny sentiment. I realized that I had never used such a trick for background stamping!
I like to use tiny sentiments as it's always a challenge to create a card and make it pop and not hidden.
THIRD CARD
The third card is very clean & simple. Here, I used only the berry images and stamped them in a row at the bottom of the card. I used lighter colors of Crisp Dye Inks: Pumpkin Pie and Misty Morning.
Finally, I stamped the sentiment just over the composition in the bottom center (which I rarely do!).
Which card did you like the most? Comment below! Mine is the second one. I hope you got inspired to create cards and other handmade projects using the Retro Plantines Stamp Set!
