Stunning Cosmos with Debby Hughes

Hi, Debby here today and I felt like brightening a winter day with the Stunning Cosmos set stamped in pigment inks on kraft card and details added with pencils.

STUNNING COSMOS

On a piece of kraft card, I stamped three of the Stunning Cosmos flowers in white pigment ink. I then added the stems with a green pigment ink before using pencils to add details to the petal edges and shading to the stems. I used a white gel pen to add a few highlights to the white petals and to add variation in the flower centres.

For the sentiment, I stamped a greeting from the Faithful Feather set in clear embossing ink on black card and white heat embossed before trimming to a banner and foam mounting over the kraft panel. I added the panel to a white card base and then accented with New Day enamel dots.
