Thank you for being my friend

Hello, everyone! This is Yana sharing a Thank you for being my friend card. If you know me, you know I love to create custom stamped backgrounds. This card is no different and features a beautiful stamped background using Watercolor Wonders stamp set.

I started by stamping a large flower in the top left corner of a white panel using Sea Glass ink, the lightest blue in the Altenew ink color family. Layered a few petals using Ocean Waves and added another layer of petals using Dusk color. The center of the flower was stamped using Warm Sunshine. I also added a few leaves stamped using all three green inks – Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades and Evergreen.

I worked my way out and filled the rest of my 4 1/4 by 5 1/5 ” panel with floral images. To create a sentiment for this card I used a Super Script stamp set and stamped a large bold Friend in the center of my stamped panel. Next – die cut the Friend word out. I also created an identical die cut out of black fun foam, adhered the two together and nested inside the negative space on my stamped panel. I also stamped “my” and “for being” and added a “Thank You” stamped using Ocean Waves on top.

I mounted my panel onto an A2 top folding card base, added a few clear sequins and that finished my today's project.
