Video: Two Cards with Dearest Friend Stamp Set

Hello!

Erum here today with two cards to share featuring the Dearest Friend Stamp Set.

First, I stamped several images from the Dearest Friend Stamp Set with Clear Embossing Ink onto watercolor paper. Next, I heat embossed these with Rose Gold Embossing Powder.

I watercolored the images with distress inks and stains. I die cut the images with coordinating dies after I was done coloring them.

For the card front, I applied a light color wash to the background. This will act as the base for the floral bouquet. In addition to a color wash, I added several paint splatters of the same shade to add interest. To this, I also added a bit of green watercolor as well.

Before popping up the bouquet, I added a few black splatters. I heat embossed the sentiment onto black cardstock and added a thin strip of Glitter Tape to one edge. I then popped this up on the floral bouquet with foam tape.

For my second card, I used the smaller images from the Dearest Friend Stamp Set. I arranged these in a floral spray/vine. In the same manner, like on the last card, I applied a light color wash to the top left side and added paint splatters.

After popping all the flowers and leaves, I adhered the sentiment label. I added Glitter Tape on this sentiment label as well.

In the end, I added some rainbow sequins to my card fronts.
