How to Add A Pop Of Color to Your Card
Hello, friends!
Svitlana is here. Today I want to share with you a simple botanical birthday card featuring the amazing Botanical You Stamp Set. This stamp set is one of those that makes the whole card, as the beautiful letters formed by botanical images would definitely be a focal point of any card.

I love making mono to duo chromatic cards and this one I felt like making as such. Although, I decided to add a pop of color to additional interest. Namely, I added black elements, which in my opinion added character to the sentiment. It looks a bit like folk art design with added black.

I stamped the YOU sentiment using the Forest Glades, Fresh Lemon, Honey Drizzle and Jet Black Crisp Dye Inks and then die cut them using the matching dies.
Then, I made a background by white embossing the background stamp from the Delicate Flower Bed Stamp Set onto a white panel and then blending Forest Glades Crisp Dye Ink onto it. After that, the panel was foam mounted onto a white card base and the letters were popped up onto it.

I made the rest of the sentiment by white embossing it onto a white strip and then blending the same Forest Glades Crisp Dye Ink onto it. This time, I did more intense blending. The beauty of dye inks is that you can achieve different results using the same ink by adding more or less layers. Next the sentiment strip was popped up onto the card.
Lastly, I added some white and black crystals.
Have a wonderful day!
