Video: Artist Markers Coloring on Springtime Azalea
Hello, friends!
Erum here today.
My card features the Springtime Azalea Stamp Set, which I have colored with Artist Markers.
I started by stamping the flowers and leaves on to Crest Solar White Cardstock with Permanent Black Ink. Next, I picked out markers from Artist Markers Set B to color my flowers.
I started from the darkest shade, that is Midnight Violet. This, I blended out with Deep Iris and then Lavender Fields. In end, I blended everything together with Soft Lilac. I also repeatedly picked up color from the tip of Midnight Violet with the help of Soft Lilac Artist Markers. By doing so, I softened the concentration of Midnight Violet, hence the pinkish streaks on the petals.
For the leaves, I used Frayed Leaf, Forest Garden, and Evergreen.
After I was done coloring the stamped images, I fussy cut all the pieces and then began working on the card front. I added light shades of purples and grey to the panel. After the watercolor was dry, I popped up a frame onto the card front with foam tape. I used the oval die from Create-A-Wreath Die Set.
Next, I stamped the sentiment “I will find you in any lifetime!” from Forever and Always Stamp Set.
In the very end, I added iridescent purple and clear sequins for some sparkle and popped the front panel onto a card base.
I have a how-to video below to share with you if you'd like to watch me color or you can hop on over to Youtube.
