VIDEO: Lydia’s Crafty Corner – Easy Watercolor Roses

Hey there, crafty friends! Lydia here. Today I'm dropping by to inspire you with a card making video tutorial on how to create easy watercolor roses using Watercolor Roses Stamp Set.

Getting the look like you have painted this yourself is so very easy! First, I stamped roses and foliage from Watercolor Roses Stamp Set onto a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ panel of watercolor cardstock. I used a very light water-soluble ink. Once I was happy with the arrangement, I set to work. I then took each petal at a time; covered the petal with clean water and then dropped in color using the Artists' Watercolor 24 Pan Set. For the flowers, I used Red Sunset, Summer Afternoon and a little Pure White. For the leaves, I used Tropical Forest and a little Delectable Delights.

Once all the coloring was finished, I let it dry completely. For the sentiment, I used Watercolor Roses Stamp Set and I stamped this using Obsidian Ink.
