Holiday Wreath Card VIDEO Tutorial: Lydia’s Crafty Corner

Hello there everyone! It's Lydia here. Today I'll be sharing how you can create beautiful holiday wreaths using the Spring Fling Stamp Set.
To start, I took the largest die from Halftone Circles Nesting Die Set and drew around this with a pencil where I wanted my wreath to be. I then went ahead and stamped around this guideline using flowers and foliage from Spring Fling Stamp Set. Even though this is a spring set, it can be easily adapted by switching the colors you use. To create a holiday feel, I went with the traditional reds and greens. I used Ruby Red, Grapevine and Velvet Inks for the flowers, Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades, Shadow Creek and Mountain Pine Inks for the leaves and Enchanted Gold Ink for the flower centers.
Once I stamped the flower centers in gold, I then wanted to add a little more gold to my panel. Now, normally, you can't add splatters using pigment ink, but I've found a way! All you need to do is add pigment ink (I'm using Enchanted Gold Ink) to a block and added a little Stamp Cleaner to it, mixed it up with a paintbrush, and you are then ready to splatter with it.
Once the splatter was dry, I simply added sentiments into the center of the wreaths. I used the larger sentiments from Peace On Earth Stamp Set as they fitted in perfectly.
