Video: Painted Jellyfish With Debby Hughes

Hi Debby here. Today I have a video (see below) showing step by step how to create this clean and simple card which packs a colorful punch using the Painted Jellyfish set.

I started by stamping the first layer of the Painted Jellyfish in Sunkissed Ink followed with the next layer in Orange Cream. Next I stamped the outline image in Crimson ink. For the final layer I stamped with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I die cut with the matching Painted Jellyfish die.

For the background I blended Caribbean Sky and Sapphire inks in to a white piece of card which I splattered with a solution of Perfect Pearls before die cutting with a circle. For the sentiment I white heat embossed a sentiment from the Painted Jellyfish set on black card and trimmed in to a strip. Finally, on a white panel I layered the ink blended circle, jellyfish and sentiment strip with foam adhesive. This in turn was foam mounted on a dark blue card base and then one last touch was to add a sprinkling of sequins.
