Video: Pencil Colored Penned Rose
Erum here today. I have a one-layer stamped card to share with you featuring the Penned Rose Stamp Set which I have colored with Prismacolor pencils. Also, you can find the process video at the end of the post if you want to watch me color.
I wanted my card to be super simple, therefore I let the Penned Rose Stamp Set be the star here. I started by stamping the flower with Permanent Black Ink. I masked this before stamping all the leaves.
After I was done stamping, I removed the mask and started coloring the flower first. This part is totally up to you. If you want, you can do the background or leaves first. I actually rarely plan my color combinations so I start with a color I know I want and then match the leaves and background.
Colors
Rose – 1078, 1009, 995, 993, 938
Leaves – 907, 1097, 1005, 989, 1004
Background – 105, 905, 992
and Black for shadows.
After I was done with the coloring, I stamped a sentiment from Just Because Stamp Set. Next, I added very fine black ink splatters with Jet Black Ink Spray.
In the end, I popped a few sequins and I was done.
To demonstrate the pencil coloring, you can watch the video below or watch it in HD on YouTube.
