Video: Perfectly Perfect Watercolor Card
Hello, friends!
Erum here with a new card featuring the Perfectly Perfect Stamp Set.
The color combination for this card comes from a card that I created before joining Altenew. You can view it HERE.
First, I stamped several flowers and leaves onto watercolor paper with Clear Embossing Ink. Then I heat embossed these with the Antique Gold Embossing Powder.
I used the new Watercolor 36 Pan Set to color the images. For the flowers, I used Cotton Candy Watercolor and Grapevine Watercolor. To color, I applied water to the petals with the help of a water brush and spread around diluted pigment of Cotton Candy Watercolor. Next, I added Grapevine Watercolor pigment closer to the center of the flower to show depth.
After coloring all the flowers, I moved onto the leaves for which I used Espresso Watercolor. When the images were dry, I used the Mini Blossom Die Cutting Machine to die cut these.
Next, I used the Our Family Frame Die and die cut a frame out of Spicy Yoghurt Cardstock. I used foam tape to pop this onto the card front. This will be a decorative element to “frame” my floral bouquet.
I arranged all the floral elements on the card front by adhering them on different heights of foam tape. Next, I heat embossed a sentiment onto black cardstock and applied Gold Glitter Tape on one edge of the sentiment tab.
In the end, I added a few rose gold sequins.
That is all from my side today. I hope you enjoy the video below or over on YouTube.
