Washi Tape Madness

Hello! Today I'm going to share with you my new obsession with the recently released washi tapes. I'm especially in love with the gold foiled ones and can't stop trying to adhere them to my projects! I've prepared three projects and a video tutorial for you.

The first idea, which had a simple process, is a banner with a name. My daughter has a pretty short name so it was quick to do.

I adhered a strip of Glitter Flurries Washi Tape on a Crest Solar White Cardstock and die cut some letters using the Mega Alphabet Dies. I also die cut the banners using the Party Banner Die and put them together with a matching ribbon.

The second project is a card that can also be used as a home decor or a guest card.

I filled the card panel with Gilded Ombre washi tape and die cut the letter A in the center using Mega Alphabet A Die. I also fussy cut a few flowers left from my previous project and placed them on a gold Leafy Wreath die-cut. These washi tapes complement each other perfectly.

The last one is also a card that I tried to make in freestyle using the Golden Edge Washi Tape. It's supposed to be stitched but since I currently don't have a sewing machine, it turned out more flat.

For more details on how I made these, please check out the video below or watch it in HD on YouTube.

Thanks and have a great day!
