Watercoloring Over White Embossing

I'm sharing a card using the Doodle Blooms set:
Next, I watercolored the flowers and leaves. With this technique, I made sure to watercolor the entire element, including the border. The watercolored borders make the white embossing pop. The watercoloring over the white embossing is a little more rustic look, and it hides imperfect fussy cutting. ;) I used a combination of Distress Inks and spray mists to watercolor the flowers.
To finish the card, I blended inks over a stencil for the background and then stamped a sentiment from the Many Thanks set. I also added a couple of Pretty Pink Posh sequins.Here are a couple of close-ups:
