Wild Hibiscus Card Using Artist Markers
Hello! Erum here today. I am using one of my favourite stamp sets for my card today namely Wild Hibiscus Stamp Set coupled with Artist Markers Set A.
For my card front, I have used Woodgrain White paper. I added some black splatters on it before working on my flowers because I knew where I'd be placing my floral bouquet.
First, I stamped the flowers and leaf from the Wild Hibiscus Stamp Set onto Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock with Frosty Pink and Frayed Leaf Crisp Ink respectively. Then I started to color my flowers using Frosty Pink, Coral Berry and Ruby Red.
To make my flower center, I added lots of dots using the Black and Grapevine markers. Apart from the centers, all my colouring was done in flicking motion hence the cool satiny looking petals. Similarly, I started coloring in the leaves using Frayed Leaf and Forest Garden. I picked up Evergreen with the Forest Garden maker to add more colour depth.
As soon as I was done with the coloring, I fussy cut the pieces. Then I started to arrange them on my card front. Initially I planned on stamping the sentiment on to the card front. But I decided to heat emboss the sentiment on to black cardstock to give it a more dramatic look. For heat embossing I used the Pure White Crisp Embossing Powder.
That is all from me today, I hope you like the card.
See you all soon ♥
