You are my happy place

Hello! Anna is here to share my card “You are my happy place”. Do you like night cities? There is something magical in this – the glowing city lights attract and pacify, it becomes quieter, the bustle of the day ends, it's time for calm reflections…

I wanted to create such landscape – a big full moon over the big city, clear skies and a scattering of stars.

I stamped and colored the city silhouette from the Sketchy Cities America set and fancy cut it. Next step – with silver embossing I made the Moon (To the Moon set). I like a fashionable trend in the design of the sentiments in cardmaking – the white embossing on the black cardstock, so I often use it. And here this option is the best choice.

Than I made a background – night sky with the stars. With the Chipped Sapphire color of Distress Inks I colored the cardstock from the edges to the center. I wanted to achieve the effect of a light glow around the moon. And stars I made with the white mist by Studio Calico. And used the foam tape to make the effect of the depth on my card.
