I really loved creating in this sketchbook. The paper is great quality and is the perfect size for travel too.

I am more of a single paper person but this diary I think I am gonna dedicate it for a particular art work

Beautiful cover, the corners seem to be a bit soft, I find the elastic closure very helpful. Good size for studies and sketching on the go. This paper handles light to moderate washes well. The texture has enough tooth for expressive brushwork without feeling overly rough, making it suitable for sketching and studies.
The masking tape and masking fluid tests were a success— both on the quick - dry to the touch- release and the 24 hour test. The tape and masking fluid peeled off cleanly enough with no tearing or surface damage. Edges stayed crisp, which is great for clean borders.
In terms of durability, the paper shows good pilling resistance, it withstands moderate scrubbing, though very aggressive tape or repeated scrubbing, and lifting can slightly affect the surface.

I liked the sturdiness of the paper. It didn't warp even with a good amount of water. Maybe you would like the cover to be Altenew black with gold?

Great sketch book with wonderful watercolor paper that does not bleed through. Wonderful and portable
