A set of six cards

Hello! Tasnim here, and today I have a few cards to share with you.

I made a set of six cards using our Super Script stamp set and some 6×6 papers from Clique Kit's Spring Card Kit.

In the paper pad, there is one page with beautiful floral pattern that I thought would be fun to cut:

Since I love cutting, I cut out all the botanical images, as well as the banners, leaving the overlapping images intact. I then used these custom ‘die cuts' to embellish my cards.  I also stamped and die cut all the large script messages from the stamp set before I began designing the cards.

Card 1

In this card, I covered a white card base with a large stripe pattern paper from the 6″x 6″ paper pad in the kit. I then arranged some of the floral ‘die cuts' with the hello die cut and glued them down.

Card 2

Here I again covered a white card base with a beautiful gold foil dotted pattern paper from the same paper pad. Next I adhered a large banner die cut (you can spot this image near the top left corner of the pattern paper above), and layered the sentiments on top with foam tape.

Card 3

Here I used another banner cut out, but I also layered and added other little floral images. And this time I used plain white card stock and stamped a little sentiment on the banner.

Card 4

Here I first stamped the ‘hello' on the white card base, then adhered two strips of pattern paper and some trimmed floral images.

Card 5

Instead of covering the entire card base, I opted to leave 3/4″ strip exposed at the seam. Beside the large sentiment and the floral images, I also added two strips of sentiments.

Card 6

In this last card, I first arranged the floral ‘die cuts' along with the sentiment to look like they are flowing from the top left corner to the bottom right corner of the card. I adhered the floral pieces with glue tape and raised the sentiment with foam tape. Finally, I stamped ‘let's' on the card base.

I love making quick and simple cards. After all the fussy cutting, it only took about an hour to put all these cards together, and I think the coordinating colors would make this a great gift set.

Today I also happen to be a designer in the spotlight over at Clique Kits, so if you would like to read a bit more about me, you can head over there.

Thanks for stopping by!
