Creative Coloring with Erum: No-Line Watercolor on Wallpaper Art

Hello! Erum here with a new card. Today's card features no-line watercolor using the Watercolor 36 Pan Set and the Wallpaper Art Stamp Set.

Today's video is especially for those of you who struggle with no-line watercolor. I received a lot of emails regarding the last video I did and I thought I would make another no-line coloring video to help you get a hold of this technique.

First, I stamped the images in distress inks since they are water-reactive. The flowers were done in Antique Linen and the leaves in Shabby Shutters. Next, I colored the flower using multiple shades of pink from the Watercolor 36 Pan Set. To be precise, the colors I used were Cotton Candy, Puffy Heart, Purple Wine, and Cosmic Berry. Once the flowers were dry, I added splatters of white chalk paint on them.

For the leaves, I used Bamboo, Forest Glades, and Evergreen. To color the flower centers, I first added a light color wash of Citrus Burst, then added a darker orange hue to the outer portion so the flower center looks dome-like. Then I used a very thin brush to add speckles of shades of brown and white chalk paint.

Once the leaves were dry, I added splatters of Evergreen Watercolor on them.

Next, I die cut the images and arranged them on my card front. I decided to keep my card front clean and didn't even add any splatters to it since the Wallpaper Art stamps are enough on their own.

After arranging the images, I adhered my sentiment label and a few sequins to complete the look.
