(Video) Stretching Your Holiday Supplies For Tropical Cards | Lydia’s Crafty Corner

Hello, everyone and happy Friday! Lydia here. Today, I'll be sharing an idea to stretch your holiday stamps to create a tropical feel. I'll be using the ever-so-cute Season's Tweetings Stamp & Die Set for today's card.

So, when is a cardinal not a cardinal? When it's a tropical bird of many colors, that's when. I have to say I really love how this turned out. I stamped the birds from Season's Tweetings Stamp Set in a variety of colors, skipping the face part of the stamp to give these a more versatile look.

For the background I used the branch from Season's Tweetings Stamp Set but mixed in some tropical leaves from Forever Ferns Stamp Set. It's a really quick and simple background to do, but I love that it looks as though the flock of birds is perched in the forest canopy.

The sentiment is from Holiday Tag Sentiments Stamp Set.
