Simple Background Stenciling
Hi friends! It's Laurie here with another quick and simple card. Recently, Altenew released several gorgeous new stencils. If you have not had a chance to see the new release, click HERE to check them out. Altenew has a wonderful variety of stencils that all add beautiful detail to your cards.
I definitely found a favorite new stencil. The new Beach Towel Stripes Stencil has the most fun stripes in different sizes and makes an amazing background. Using Pink Diamond Ink from Altenew, I blended up a soft background with this new stencil. I flicked on a little white paint for extra detail.
The leaves in Leaf Canopy make for a great contrast in shapes to the striped background, so I stamped and die cut one stem for the front of the card. After spraying a little glitter spray on the die-cut, I popped it up on foam tape to add some dimension.
Lastly, I stamped the sentiment, also from Leaf Canopy, to finish off my card.
